A Perfect Cottage Wedding
"It's a family weekend at the cottage. But we'll be getting married. And the suits are fantastic."
All of the above was true for Matt and Ryan's intimate, family-focused affair. Everyone was greeted with welcome gift of a Hudson's Bay towel, champagne and sunscreen. The day started off with competitive family games, and after everyone prepared for the ceremony. This involved bathing in the lake, shaving using the mirrors on the truck, and everyone pitching in to help with makeup, bowties, and wrangling kids.
The lakeside ceremony was absolutely stunning! Everyone gathered outside for champagne, fresh summer food, and not 1 - not TWO - but THREE cakes! The rest of the day whirled by in a daze of swimming, laughter, boating, cliff-jumping, and a late-night dance party.
Matt and Ryan, it meant so much to be asked to capture this day for you two. Your families made me feel like family, and it's so clear where you both developed your love, patience, and spirit. Congraulations!
