ANNE-MARIE AND LEE

September 06, 2015  •  10 Comments

Sometimes I can't get two people to anywhere other than at each other - Anne-Marie and Lee are two such people. Their biggest, most genuine smiles came each time they looked at one another, and the smiles were quickly followed by laughter. We spent a beautiful summer evening at The Dingle, as I got to know Lee (Anne-Marie is a longtime yoga friend).

It didn't take long for me to see that Lee just adores Anne-Marie. When I think of wedding vows, one of the words that strikes me is "cherish". These two completely cherish one another.

I couldn't be more excited to photograph their wedding today at Oceanstone! I have no doubt today will be filled with even sweeter looks:)

Annemarie Lee is an experienced cardiorespiratory physiotherapist and researcher who completed her PhD at The University of Melbourne in 2009. She previously taught in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program and led the cardiorespiratory teaching program in the Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne from 2011 to 2014, while working clinically at Alfred Health. From 2014 to 2016, she undertook an international Postdoctoral fellowship (supported by the Canadian Respiratory Research Network) at West Park Healthcare Centre and University of Toronto, Canada and taught in the cardiorespiratory program at The University of Toronto and McMaster University.

Her research program has focused on physiotherapy for bronchiectasis and examining the prevalence and clinical impact of comorbidities in chronic respiratory conditions, including pain, postural abnormalities and gastro-oesophageal reflux, supported by competitive funding from the Canadian Institute for Health Research, Ontario Lung Association, Ontario Research Care Society, Alfred Foundation, Institute for Breathing and Sleep and the Physiotherapy Research Foundation. New research interests are optimising clinical outcomes through non-pharmacological treatment in people with chronic respiratory disease, specifically examining the effects of adjuncts to pulmonary rehabilitation.
