The King and Queen of Dartmouth have returned! Rachel and Patrick run this town. After their winter engagement session at Celtic Corner, I knew their summer wedding was going to be a party. They seemed to know everyone in town, a neighbourhood institution. Now that they live in Texas, I knew there would be tonnes of people excited to celebrate with them. Combine that with some strong Celtic roots, and you've got a party.
The speeches were hilarious and touching, including Rachel's father's Gaelic toast. There was a kid's corner, complete with colouring and face paint, and a photobooth full of props. However, it didn't take long for the props to be repurposed as dancing accessories. When a 70-year-old man is jitterbugging towards you in a feathered boa, you know the night is young my friend.
Many thanks to Jessie Redmond Photography for her assistance! The photos of the guys and a lot of great dance shots are her work:)
Congratulations Rachel and Patrick!
